If you are interested in becoming a caregiver, you must meet the following criteria:

Valid ID

Valid Social Security number

Pass a background check completed by the state of Michigan

Have a form of transportation
-
Available to work up to 7 days per week and up to 4-5 hours per day

Hours vary based on the time and tasks assigned to each client by their social worker

Be willing to assist in daily tasks such as:

Dressing

Mobility

Toileting

Transferring

Housework

Laundry

Medication

Be willing to assist in complex tasks such as:

Bowel Program
-
Catheters
-
Colostomy Care
-
Feeding Assistance
-
Range of Motion Exercises
-
Special Skin Care
-
Suctioning
-
Wound Care
-

Must inform the agency immediately of any hospitalizations the client has had and send over discharge paperwork​​​​​
