If you are interested in becoming a caregiver, you must meet the following criteria:
​
  • Valid ID

  • Valid Social Security number

  • Pass a background check completed by the state of Michigan

  • Have a form of transportation

  • Available to work up to 7 days per week and up to 4-5 hours per day

    • Hours vary based on the time and tasks assigned to each client by their social worker

  • Competitive Pay

  • Valid bank account information

  • Be willing to assist in daily tasks such as:

    • Eating

    • Dressing

    • Bathing

    • Grooming

    • Mobility

    • Toileting

    • Transferring

    • Housework

    • Laundry

    • Medication

    • Meal Prep

    • Shopping

  • Be willing to assist in complex tasks such as:

    • Bowel Program

    • Catheters

    • Colostomy Care

    • Feeding Assistance

    • Range of Motion Exercises

    • Special Skin Care

    • Suctioning

    • Wound Care

  • Must inform the agency immediately of any hospitalizations the client has had and send over discharge paperwork​​​​​
